This "add-on" makes all the previous ship models uselss, the new hulls are compleatly unbalanced and many are twice the size of the old racial counterparts for the same class. Completely obliderates the use of the racial ship hulls there is no reason to use the old ones anymore, making battles bland and monotone.. A well thought out and welcome DLC. I love the new Titan Hulls. They are massive! The dynamic turret system is great too. It makes the ships feel more intelligent. If you enjoy SD2 this is well worth the purchase.. the base game already has all of this stuff when i bought it which made buying this dlc useless. the base game already has all of this stuff when i bought it which made buying this dlc useless. New ships are excellent and the passive abilities they bring to the table give the player lots of options. I get that some folks are put off by the fact that the new ships are available to all races but it honestly doesn't bother me that much. The new ship hulls are more expensive to build than the vanilla counterparts but I don't think they are quite expenseive enough considering the benefits some of these ships can bring to the game. Overall though its an excellent expansion and well worth the $.. A well thought out and welcome DLC. I love the new Titan Hulls. They are massive! The dynamic turret system is great too.
