MESX 1.5 is not a very good game - the tracks are nearly as smooth as glass from start to finish, the front end of the bike is response-less, the rear is unpredictable, and the AI is copy+paste from the previous year. Absolutely can not recommend this game.. I must admit I prefer the MXGP series and MXGP PRO is a far better game overall. I am mainly concerned with optimisation as other nit picky things like official licenses don't really worry me.I can't seem to run this on 1440p MAX settings like I could with MXGP PRO. I hope they fix this in future updates??????6.5 out of 10 for now.I will give a thumbs up for the support factor only.....?. I'm normally really not in favor of writing "Recommended" when a game feels more in the middle, but I'm going to say "Yes" with these things in mind....Pros-------- A good bit of customization in both Bike and Rider.- Tracks are pretty fun and varied. (There's also a Track Builder, which is cool)- You can bounce in and out of the different modes really quickly. (Career/Single Event/Compound/Etc)- There's a career mode. That's a big bonus.- Nothing is as gratifying as sending an opponent flying off their bike in a turn.- It's Supercross. VroomCons---------- The narrator lines are ♥♥♥♥ing terrible. They are generic as hell, don't have anything to do with your performance or how the season is progressing. They are also incredibly limited, you're going to hear the same thing a lot.- The Music is garbage. Just turn it off and thank me later. The track in the trailer is from a super oldschool Freeride video and that lured me in. The ingame tracks are terrible. So bad.- All that customization, and it costs a ♥♥♥♥ing red headed step child for every piece. Spokes, Brakes, Rims, Saddle, Handguards, Handlebars, Exhaust / Goggles, Boots, Helmet, Outfit. They all cost at least 30k SX Credits or much more, you make about 5k credits a race and bike parts are specific to the bike you're using. It's a slog.- The AI are terrible - They definitely have their own set of rules and physics.- Physics are frustrating as hell. Scrubbing is aids and I have yet to find a decent way of pulling the bike back out of it. Just whip it with the normal steer and lean controls. It works better.- BUGS: Sounds bugs have been frequent. The most annoying of which is when you get credits from a promotional day and it just loops the ticking sound.....forever. I have to literally close the game out for it to stop. - No 2 Strokes. NO TWO STROKES!!!!!!! I don't give a damn what anyone says. Two strokes will forever be Dirt Bikes.-----------There's probably more I could give in the Cons, and maybe some more Pros, but this should give anyone an idea of what they're buying into. It's not garbage, but I'd really be hesitant to spend full price on this.. In short, the "overall" best MX game I've ever played! I raced MX bikes for years and I know what the real thing feels like. Is it perfect? Hell no. Is it the most fun to play of any MX game? In my opinion, yes!!! Buy it.----- The Good ------ Physics: though in air physics aren't perfect, the bike feels closest to the real thing of all MX games I've played (yes I've played MX Sim, just not near as fun and as polished as MESX2) - Cornering; loss of traction and throttle control are critical or you may spin out- Graphics: best most realistic graphics racing experience ever!- Presentation: real announcers, fireworks, track deformation, and dynamic weather (in career mode)-- you could race a heat in the rain; then in the main Event have clear skies.. Nice!- Track Editor: the most feature-rich track editor of any MX game; racing your track online is another story- Factory bikes!!! No made up bike names; you ride the real thing and all bikes have slight differences but are balanced----- The Bad ----- In-air Physics: you can move the bike left and right \/ you can pull out of an endo too easily; this makes the game a little easier and some would argue more fun since you will crash less- Scrubs\/Whips: The whips are semi-free; not as good as other MX games, but they do lower the bike off jumps like real scrubs; this game is more focused on racing rather than Freestyle (tricks are only enabled on finish line last lap)- Online Custom Tracks: you can not view "Favorite" tracks online; only Most Downloaded or Most Liked; this make playing a newly created track impossible; if this change is made the game replay value will sky rocket!!!. Completed "training"Rocking chair bike physics. My rider feels like he is wearing a body cast while trying to turn. Their first patch was to fix their DLC while everything else was ignored.1/10"P h u C C o is now playing: Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 2". real nice game ,the graphics an game play are awesome.... Game isn't bad considering the only competition in this dying genre is literal dog♥♥♥♥♥♥ With that being said this game has been out for 3 months and i haven't seen a single bug I reported to the milestone website fixed and it almost feels as if the game has been abandoned.
